Granite State Open
Our Men’s golf association decided that Loudon Country Club would forego the regular men’s member guest tournament in favor of an open style golf tournament. This tournament would be a combination gross/net event played each year in September. The tournament will be named the Granite State Open. Our goal will be to have a minimum of 50 teams with a max of 64 teams.
This year’s open will be held September 26th. It will be a 9:00 AM shot gun start with an entry fee of $55.00 per player. The entry fee will include golf, cart, all prizes and food. The course will be set up at a competitive length. The net will be played at 90% handicap with a Max of 24 strokes awarded. The tournament will be played using USGA rules of golf. Laconia Savings Bank is the Tournament’s main sponsor. We have obtained a tee sign sponsor in New Hampshire Distributors.

If your company would like to sponsor a tee please let us know as soon as possible the cost to sponsor a tee is $100.00. Loudon Country Club will guarantee that there will be a minimum of $3,000.00 in pro shop credit prize money. Cleveland Golf has also committed to sponsor the closet to the pin contest and they will be on the range in the morning with as much as their product line as possible.

The format will be a 2 man best ball, (four Ball) with both gross and net prizes. If there are no out right skins winners then a putting contest will be held for all teams that were tied for a skin with one player representing that team. The players MUST HAVE A 2010 USGA GHIN HANDICAP AND WE NEED THEIR GHIN NUMBER WHEN YOU REGISTER!
